Biografie

Ina Tabbes-Groenland geboren in Oudorp, Noord-Holland en nu woon ik in Marum, Groningen.

Vanaf dat ik heel jong was heb ik altijd getekend, waarbij vorm en ruimte de belangrijkste uitgangspunten waren.

Ruimte in de lucht, het water, de horizon zien, het geeft mij een gevoel van vrijheid en onafhankelijkheid.

Daarbij spreken de talloze kleuren in lucht en water mij bijzonder aan, waarvan blauw mijn voorkeur heeft en ook regelmatig in mijn werk zal voorkomen. In welke tint dan ook.

In de kunst voel ik mij aangetrokken door het Realisme, Magisch Realisme en Surrealisme en daarnaast heb ik affiniteit met textiel en alle kosteloze materialen die je daar in kunt verwerken.

Ik werk met olieverf, acryl, aquarel en textiel . Ik ben autodidact.
 

Hi there. My name is Ina Tabbes-Groenland, and I was born in Oudorp, in the Netherlands. In fact, Oudorp was once a vibrant village in the province of North-Holland, which has since merged with the city of Alkmaar. There's a Dutch saying, "In Alkmaar began the Victory," which refers to the victory over Spain in 1573, and I resonate deeply with this sentiment as it reflects my strong connection to my artistic work. 

From a very young age, I have always enjoyed drawing, with a focus on form and space as my main principles. I find a sense of freedom and independence in perceiving space in the air, the water, and along the horizon. 

In particular, I am inspired by the myriad colors of the sky and water, with blue being my favorite color, often appearing in my work in various shades. In terms of artistic style, I am drawn to Realism, Magical Realism, and Surrealism. I also have a strong affinity for textiles and love incorporating various free materials into my art. 

I work with oil paint, acrylic, watercolor, and textiles, and I am a self-taught artist. I currently live and work in the municipality of Westerkwartier, specifically in the village of Marum, located in the northern part of the Netherlands.
